Big Change - ‘Gas Safe Register’ replaces ‘Corgi registration’ in Great Britain on April 1st 2009.
The register exists to protect you and your property from dangerous gas work. By law anyone carrying out work on gas installations and appliances in your home must be on the gas safe register to ensure yours and your tenants’ safety. So when contacting a gas installer you no longer need to ask if they are Corgi registered, they must however be Gas Safe registered.
Look out also for the new black and yellow logo.
